Steel City Mission Group was founded to improve the physical, environmental, and spiritual health in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Established in 2007 in Western Pennsylvania, we are a faith-based, 501(c)3 nonprofit group staffed entirely by volunteers. All projects are funded solely through donor generosity. Annual service trips attract an international volunteer team. From professionals and retirees to college students and laborers, participants come from a wide range of backgrounds and religious affiliations. All volunteers raise their own funds to cover the cost of the trip. This enables SCMG to turn help into hope by using 100 percent of all donations to fund projects that directly benefit those in need. Anyone with a sincere desire to help is welcome to join us.
